Fold Your T-Shirt in 2 Seconds

11 October 2010 4 Comments

When doing laundry or packing, I always have to mentally prepare myself before for the task. I usually save folding my shirts for last because I hate the time it takes. There are a few techniques that you can find online about How To Folder Your T-Shirts. Well out of all of them I have found a favorite. This article will explain a technique to fold your shirt in about 2-3 seconds.

While I cannot be sure because I did not find any confirmation or references, I have heard that this technique comes from Japan. I have never been to Japan and am not very well versed on the culture so I am not sure if the videos we have are from the creator of the technique or if this is how the culture folds. Either way it is a much faster way to do it, and we applaud whoever created this way. The video came out about 4 or 5 years ago, so if you have seen it before hopefully you have mastered the technique. If you have not seen it before, then be prepaired for easy folding from now on.

It took me a few tries to do it correctly. I am sure it will take a week+ of practice to really be able to do it without thinking. [5 years later] There are many video clips that explain the technique. I have included (what I think is) the original Japanese video. I also have included a video in English for you all if you cannot grasp the concept by simply watching.
