Kik Messenger is a mobile IM app that allows free text messages on your phone. It is much like the beloved Blackberry Messenger (BBM) that many blackberry users cannot live without. Facebook Annouces New Groups and Download Information Feature

Today there was a event held by Facebook (October 6th, 2010) where they made some announcements.  Newly added to the network’s features will be Facebook Groups and options to Download Your Information.
Groups:

Skype is now available free to download, for all android phones.  After a waiting so long, Skype is now available for more than just Verizon Android phones.  The application is available for download and use by anyone running Android 2.1 or above.
